Tang turns 5 - Unicef Yemen Fundraiser

On the 29th of April 2021 Tang celebrated the 5-year anniversary of opening our doors for the first time, our birthday, of sorts!

To mark the day we decided to donate 100% of our sales for the entire day to UNICEF Ireland’s Yemen Emergency Appeal.

Tang has been built on flavours and recipes from across North Africa and the Middle East and so it seems fitting that we take this opportunity to give something back to a country that is so devastatingly in need right now.

We raised €3,143 – good going for a rainy Thursday on Dawson Street! The funds will go some way in helping the men, women and children who are suffering in Yemen and we’re delighted to be able to make this contribution.

Thank you to everyone for the last 5 years, to all our amazing staff, past and present, our great local suppliers and of course to our fantastic customers – we couldn’t have got here without you!
